ABOUT THE SHOW

 

Visionaries is a fantasy audio drama podcast fantasy podcast about racism and human evolution.

 

In the year 2185, the world is distinguished by two races – the Visionaries and the Dead-eye slaves.  The Visionary race is the next step in human evolution. They have unique eyes which endows them with special abilities.  Humans unable to evolve are slaves to the Visionaries because of their powerless eyes.  These Dead-eye slaves open rebellion against the Visionaries.

WHAT IS VISIONARIES

 

Visionaries is a fantasy story that explores the racial divide between Visionaries and the Dead-eye slaves. The story follows the path of two privileged brothers, one supports slavery, the other is opposed. Fueled by conspiracy and betrayal, both brothers begin taking action for their cause.

PRODUCTION

 

Visionaries was recorded in New York City at Pomman Sound.  Season 1 consists of 5 episodes. Each episode ranges from 17 to 32 minutes. The entire season runs under 2 hours.

ABOUT THE CREATOR

 

Richard Seneque is a writer, director, and producer. After graduating from college, he went on to write his short film, Sweet Shadow. He co-directed and co-produced the film. He also co-wrote Capio, a sci-fi feature film.  These projects led Richard to write, direct, and produce the podcast, Visionaries Audio Drama.

 

Richard is also a script consultant, helping other writers bring their story to life.
